Boy this is a change! I am a very petite girl and I was terribly scared and timid. I came from a hoarding house and was a teenage mom. At WHARF I hid as best I could and preferred to stay in my carrier the first two days at my foster home. Eventually I learned this place was very different and there was nothing to harm me here. I was fidgety with the grooming at first but I am getting used to it. Ritter, my roommate is a big guy and he intimidated me at first, but I have come out of my shell and have him wrapped around my little paw – as long as I don’t pester him too much. I am catching up on play, big time, and loving chasing balls around and skidding around on the tile floor. I love the toys I have to play with. I can’t believe life can be like this – it’s a second kittenhood. Initially I refused to be picked up, and I am still often fidgety but I’m getting used to it and even like to crawl on mom’s lap in the evenings. Mom gave me time to get used to these new digs and mostly let me choose when I wished to be near her. I’m learning how pleasurable it is to be held and cuddled but I’m still a bit nervous at times. I was spayed after being moved to foster care and I am so glad to finally have that awful cone off! I would love to find a forever home where I can feel safe and secure and continue to adjust to the good life. I’m still very nervous around strange people so a quiet home with no children would be my first choice. I’m used to other cats and would make a good friend for your feline companion. My foster mom has nick named me Missy ‘cuz I’m a fiesty, curious little girl with lots of spunk and very good toilet manners. I’m ready for adoption, spayed, vaccinated and de-wormed.
