Hello, I am Jackson. I came into care as a transfer from the pound a while ago. I was found wandering around, and no one claimed me after I was caught. I was pretty terrified of people when I came in, but this is slowly getting better with time and patience. My foster mom has been working with me lots. She brings me out from my hiding space and gives me lots of snacks and pets to reassure me. I won’t eat out of her hand, but I will take treats if she tosses them to me. I am slowly starting to trust people more and more. We have also been working on my leash skills and I am beginning to really love our walks. I am amazing with the other dogs in my foster home. They have a puppy and an older doggie and I love to play with both of them. I am slowly learning how to become a dog again! Young kids make me nervous when they are loud and move quickly, so I would do best in a home with older kids or no kids. I need an experienced owner that can continue teaching me how nice and gentle humans can be. Please apply to adopt me!
