Peanut is a semi-feral kitten who is starting to come around. He is so adorable you just want to squeeze him but he has other ideas. He will let you love him in his safe area’s and will even purr now. He will come out of his safe spot to explore but is easily scared and does not want to be pick up yet. He is a work in progress but is just needing the perfect home to go to that will love him and encourage him to grow.

Copper here! I came into care as a personal surrender. I have been here for a very long time and no one knows why. I am the perfect boy, I just have a lot of energy. I love playing fetch and can go for hours and hours. I love toys, balls and sticks. I am amazing with other dogs, cats and kids. I am house trained and perfect in my kennel. I need a bit of work on my leash manners but I am perfect off leash. Also, if you want a dog to travel with I absolutely love car rides, my foster mom sometimes has to trick me by throwing a ball when she opens her car because I always find my way in when she opens the door. Star

Star came to wharf as a very pregnant undersocailized kitty. At first star was so scared she just stayed in a ball in the corner of the room. After about week Star gave birth 5 kittens. Star was a fantastic momma and was very attentive to her babies. She even took on an orphaned kitty. Thats how she got her name..her foster mom called her a super star! Star was very calm after having her babies and started to really enjoy head scratches. Occasionally she would come and give head rubs if her foster mom was lying on the floor. She even would roll for some belly rubs. Now that her babies are grown, Star is ready for her own home. Star is very independent and loves to be around but only likes attention on her terms. She is never aggressive. She just walks away when she doesn’t want attention. Star is very low maintenance and loves doing her own thing. She has perfect litter box manners and loves her food. She would do best in a home with another cat. In foster care she runs up and rubs against the resident cat. Having a friendly cat around will help her continue to blossom. She has even shown some interest in meeting a medium sized dog. Star has come such a long way since being in foster care as is looking for a nice quite home with other animals to help her feel safe.
