Willow – not available

Ruby and Willow are sisters who came into WHARF care through the ASPCA. They lived on a property with too many dogs and not enough funds to fix (spay and neuter) everyone. They were well fed and cared for but had limited human interaction, due to the amount of dogs, vs one care giver. Ruby has since been adopted. It took her about a week to warm up to her humans and we think Willow will be the same. She just needs a patient, loving family who is willing to give her some love and attention, so that she can learn that people are awesome! If you don’t mind a shy dog that needs a bit of time to warm up, Willow is your girl! She gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t seem to care about cats.

Age: 1 year
Sex: Female
Breed: Collie X
Location: Edmonton
Intake: August 2020
Adoption Fee: $425

Willow is in foster care as she is more scared than we originally thought. She is not up for adoption right now.

    1. She is a pretty scared dog. We haven’t had her in a home with cats or kids. She is great with other dogs and would likely be fine with kids. She would be more scared of them than anything. I fostered her sister Ruby and she was in my home with a cat, dogs and kids. She didn’t care about the cat and was great with my kids. Willow will need patience to help her come out of her shell. The dogs were never mis-treated but had limited interaction with humans. If you call Tessa at 780 884 1172 you can set up a meet and greet, or apply if you haven’t already. Thanks!
