I am adopted!
Hi there, Just wanted to update you on Vita now that she’s been living with us for a month. She is the sweetest, most gentle girl, so filled with love. She is super smart – less than three days and she was trained to ring a bell to go outside. She loves snuggling on the couch, going for rides and playing fetch – we still have some work to do on getting her to bring the ball back, but that’s kind of expected. She is the belle of the ball when we take her to visit her “grandma” in the nursing home. Nearly everyone there is in love with her. It’s been a while since either of us had a dog that barks at things, but rest assured, we are safe from wood piles that move because we are plowing snow and garbage bags that are placed outside with out her knowledge. And our yard has been pretty much cleared of deer every day since Vita found her voice. She loves that they will run from her barking and sometimes just goes outside to see if there is anything that will run when she sits up on the deck and lets them have it. Thank you so much for being there for the dogs that you rescue. Vita is our second dog through WHARF, and maybe it’s just luck, but we have found two of the sweetest girls ever through you. We lost Penny (Henny in 2011) in June of 2017, but she was and is missed by a lot of family members too. Jennifer and Brent
