I am pending adoption!
Hi! My name is Maddy. I came into Wharf care after living on a community in Saskatchewan. I didn’t seem to have a family of my own but I was being fed because I could lose a couple pounds. I am 15lbs. I am being fed an excellent diet of dehydrated dog food to help me get back to a healthier weight. No extra carbs for me! I am estimated to be about 2 years old by the vet. My foster family thinks I’m the sweetest little girl. I am good with the kids, dogs and cat in the household. I love attention and am a pretty quiet girl. I can be a little shy at first and sometimes act unsure of things but as soon as I’m shown kindness, you can see how happy it makes me! I sleep well in my crate at night and haven’t had any house accidents thus far. I am excellent on my walks. My foster mom drops the leash on the paths and I stay pretty close to her as I am already feeling bonded to her. If you can offer me a life of love and safety, please inquire about me today!UPDATE: Foster mom noticed how I don’t like to put pressure on my right hand leg, so while I was at the vet for my spay and vaccinations, they also performed knee surgery on me. At some point I had pulled a ligament in my knee and needed an artificial one put in. Right now I am feeling a little rough and need extra rest but soon I will be feeling much better and ready for my new life! If you’re interested in meeting me, I’d still love to meet you!
