Here is an update from her foster mom on our little Lacey. She is a sweet, gentle and affectionate kitty and I’m happy to report, she is beginning to come out of her shell. When Lacey (I call her Ladybug!) came into care, she was extremely scared and shy, hiding for hours/days on end. She is now coming out and dancing around at meal times, playing with her toys and her partner in crime Penelope (see her update as well) and coming to her mom for cuddles and brushing every night. Lacey is very quiet and barely makes a peep. She is loving and quite a delight. Not to mention absolutely beautiful – her markings are amazing. She still hides quite a lot, but can be tempted by hearing Penny frolicking and playing. Lacey has never had a single issue with the litter box and is very clean and dainty. She continues to be scared of lots of activity and loud noises so I would recommend a very quiet, calm home for her without too much action. She entertains herself and so can be left for hours at a time if need be. She is good with other cats and would likely do well with a playmate, although a really aggressive cat would not be ideal as she likely would never get any food. Lacey will be a loving and trusting girl with the right forever friend. I hope she finds someone who will love her as she deserves.
